April 4, 1993: Sympathizer Leaves Davidian Compound

Jesse Amen, who surreptitiously entered the besieged Branch Davidian compound days before (see March 26, 1993), exits the compound and is taken into custody. Amen is held at the McLennan County Jail on charges of interfering with the duty of a police officer. [New York Times, 4/5/1993; Moore, 1995]
