August 4, 1994: Minnesota ‘Patriots’ Arrested for Plotting to Murder Federal Agents with Chemical Weapons

Two right-wing extremists, both members of the Minnesota Patriots Council, are arrested for making ricin, a deadly toxin. The two will later be convicted of attempting to poison federal agents. [Southern Poverty Law Center, 6/2001]
