October 4, 2001: Justice Department Issues Secret Opinion Regarding Interrogation Techniques
The Justice Department’s John Yoo, an official in the Office of Legal Counsel (OLC), issues a secret opinion regarding legal statutes governing the use of certain interrogation techniques.
