November 28, 2004: New York Times Columnist Friedman Predicts, Again, that ‘Iraq Will be Won or Lost in the Next Few Months’

2004-11-28

New York Times foreign affairs columnist Thomas Friedman writes: “Improv time is over. This is crunch time. Iraq will be won or lost in the next few months. But it won’t be won with high rhetoric. It will be won on the ground in a war over the last mile.” Friedman will continue predicting a resolution of the Iraq situation in “the next six months” until at least May 2006 (see May 6-11, 2006).
