Jefferson Parish officials say that authorities are headed to the Lincolnshire subdivision in Marrerro, where residents trapped by floodwaters have called for rescue. Officials apparently do not yet know the extent of damage. “At this point, one official said, it’s not so much an assessment of damage that parish emergency crews are after.
